I can not type in my screen

Please reduce your screen size. When playing at a table go to Play Options -> Select Table Size -> Basic. The game tries to automatically detect the size of your computer screen and set it to a size appropriate for you computer. If you have an older screen with a lower resolution, your table will have a slightly different layout.

I do not hear the sound

Unfortunately we have not found the solution to this problem. Please check and make sure that all of the sound functions are working properly on your machine.

When I work with the kitty the machine game crashes

People have two issues that occur with the kitty.

One is that if you take too long the computer assumes that you have left and it will play the hand for you.

If the game crashes on you. then there is an imcompatibility between your computer system and the version of Java you have installed

You have several choices to address the problem.

                 1.  Update your video drivers.  If you are running Windows 95/98 or ME, you may need to do this.  Users of XP should not have this problem.  Many of the incompatibilities occur because the video drivers are not update and differ from the current standards.  Updating your drivers can be tricking for a person new to the web.  Below is a description of how to at least get the information about your current driver.

                a.  Go to the Control Panel.  Usually, you can find this by pressing Start.  Then press settings.  Then press control Panel.  Your actual steps may be different.

                b.  On the Control panel window, you will see a link that reads "Display".  Click that.

                c.  On the Display Properties window, you will see a tab that reads "Settings".  Click that.

                 d.  Near the bottom right you will see a button labeled "Advanced...".  Click that.

                e.  Now you will see a tab labeled "Adapter".  Click that.  This pages give all of the information about your driver.  You may need to search the web for information about your particular driver and if an update is available.

                 f.  Near the upper right you will see a button labeled "Change...".  Click that.

The last possibility is that your computer would prefer a different version of Java. If you have tried all the steps outlined on the installation page and the game still does not work, please try these steps.

Basically, we want you to uninstall the old Java files on your computer and start the installation procedure again.

  1. Go to the Control Panel.  Usually, you can find this by pressing Start.  Then press settings.  Then press control Panel.  Your actual steps may be different.
  2. On the Control panel window, you will see a link that reads "Add/Remove Programs".  Click that.
  3. Scroll down on the currently installed programs list until you find files that start with Java 2 Runtime Environment or Java Web Start.
  4. Uninstall these programs (the Java 2 Runtime Environment files and Java Web Start) by clicking their name and hitting uninstall or remove.  *** MAKE SURE YOU ONLY UNINSTALL THE JAVA FILES!!! ****
  5. Once you have uninstalled the programs, reboot your computer.
  6. After rebooting you should not have any version and any dection such say Java not found. Please restartthe installation process with this link to first detect for any Java and then install lastest version of Java (Version 6 (or 1.6) or greater.

If none of these procedures does not help, please send us email feedback@bidwhist.com

We will need to know the nature of your problem.  So let us know if its Step 1, 2 or 3 from the top of this page that you first see problems.

This feedback will help me inform others....

Thanks!
