Product Installation

We try to provide complete instructions for our products. Occasionally because of new operating system or updated files users may encounter a problem during installation. This page list the basic instructions plus special instructions for known problem configurations.

Bid Whist Challenge

Windows version of the popular card game Bid Whist.

If you have the two floppy disks:

Insert Disk 1 in Drive A (or Drive B).
Choose Run from the Window Start menu.
Type: A:SETUP and click OK.

You should then follow the directions presented to you on screen.

If you have the trial CD

Insert the CD into your CD-ROM drive
Use Windows Explorer(Start -> Programs -> Windows Explorer)
Double click on the icon for "setup.exe" (This should appear in the items listed on the right hand side.)

 You should then follow the directions presented to you on screen.

 

Known Problems

If you have multiple hard drives, you could have a problem where the computer keeps asking you if you wish to install an updated version of a file and then tells you to restart. After restarting you encounter the same problem again despite having followed the instructions. You will need to goto Microsoft's site to update the file and fix the problem.

Goto http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;193034. You will be asked to download a file called Vb6sys.exe to update your system. Alternatively you can also try to just update, your browser if you are Internet Explorer. Updating the browser will also update the system files.
